    Most of the farmers around Oughterard wear (the)

    There are several people around Oughterard that have spinning wheels. Mrs. Mac Donagh of Drimmahon has one.

  2. There are two blessed wells in Oughterard. St. Michall's Well and St. Cummins Well.
    Saint Cummin's Well is in a field near the Galway road. It was closed in by the Salvation Army in the olden days. It sprung up again in the same place. Three times it was closed and each time it sprung up again. The last time it was closed it sprung up in the grave yard which is not far from
