Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)was two or three batches together with twenty three or twenty four in each batch. There was a captain on each band and he conducted them. They would not dare to eat or drink anything. They ordered the bride and groom to dance and any other important members of the gathering. When the bride would go home to the groom's house there was a second feast which was called "a bottle drink". At this all the friends of the bride and groom gathered together and brought some present to the newly married pair. Here is an old rhyme about marriage:

Tuesday for wealth,
Wednesday the best day of all,
Thursday for losses,
