- Once upon a time there lived in Gleneely a priest called Father McNamara who had an umbrella and it was the first umbrella was about Gleneely. One night about midnight there came a man who asked him to come and attend a sick man.The sick mans house was four or five miles away and they had to walk all the way. The night was wet and the priest took his umbrella. By the time he reached the sick man's house it had stopped raining, and the priest hung up his umbrella to dry.
