  1. There is a well up at Altaskin and Mr Willie Moody made this well and wan day this aul man was doon for water and he went up hame (wh) withoot the water.
    When he went up aul Maggie said to aul Johnnie "whar hey you the water"? I lost the bucket somewhar doon aboot the well and I nover got it again. You were very lang doon at the well. I thought you were nover going to come up again.
    Aul Johnnie said that he was not going to cerry up ony aul water to you and you sitting in that aul corner of yours channering fay morning till night.
    A wheen a week efter that aul Maggie died and aul Johnnie was very sorrt aboot her and the day she was to get buried aul Johnnie left his ane aul hoose and went to Derry and I nover heard anything aboot his since.
