  1. There lives a witch in Conn's quarry, which is in Dunmore, near Carrigans. She comes up out of the hole at nine o'clock if anybody is in the quarry she could kill them.
    One day a man was shooting and he saw a hare running over a little height. He fired a shot and wounded the hare on the leg. He followed the hare and it went into a hole. He went in also and he saw the witch nursing her leg.
