  1. Mulroy Bay
    I
'Twas with a friend I dearly loved,
    One glorious Summer's day,
    That from Rossgarrows rugged slopes
    I viewed that lovely Bay,
Its wandering shores were richly dressed
    By nature's lavish hand,
Each turn displayed some new delight
    It seemed enchanted land.
    II
And as the sun did sink to rest
    Amid the Western haze
The Bay appeared like burnished gold
    Touched by its slanting rays
And as I gazed upon Bunlin,
    In all its beauty dressed,
It seemed a perfect sylvian scene,
    'Twas nature at its best.
    III
    I've seen Killarney's lovely lakes,
    I've seen Rostrevor Bay
I've wandered through the Gartan Glens
    I've gazed on weird Glenveigh,
But none of these however grand,
    Can from my mind destroy,
The image of the lovely scene,
    When first I saw Mulroy,
