Ar an leathanach seo
- Long ago the houses were very small. Some of them consisted of a kitchen and one room and others a kitchen and two rooms.
The houses were usually about the height of a man. They were built with mortar and stones as the people did not know how to build with same and lime.
Houses were thatched with link which the people grew (knew) on their farms, and bent when grew in sand.
They also had a bed in the kitchen convenient to the fire place. The fire was usually at the gable half way between the two walls.
Some of the houses had one window and others two.
These were very small and consisted of four panes of glass each of which(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
