Ar an leathanach seo

  1. The wild birds that are generally found in our district are the lark, cuckoo, swallow, robin, wren, thrush, goldfinch, magpie, and blackbird.
    The lark is a small bird with a very beautiful song. Its nest is always built on the ground. The lark lays from three to five eggs. Larks eat insects, worms, seeds, and clover leaves.
    The cuckoo comes about April. Cuckoos do not build nests of their own. They lay the egg on the ground. Then they take it and drop it into a small bird's nest. When the cuckoo hatches, it puts the other young bird's out of the nest.
    Swallow's are little birds. They go away
