Giant. There is another stone with Eamon written on it in Tom Moore’s park over in Murvagh. This giant took a very bad disease on his face and head. He used to eat the bark of trees and grass. People said it was from that he got his disease. He was suffering from that disease for two months and he ended his days on the hills.
When he died he was buried like an animal without a coffin or anything else. His grave is in Barney Mollys field. We went to see his grave but it could scarcely be seen. The only way of knowing his grave is by a stone flag. The flag is four hundred and forty yards long and is two hundred and twenty yards long.
