  1. The treasure is hidden on the left side of Ballyduff stream half mile to the North of Ballyduff village. The reason it was hidden there was because long ago when people had money they buried it in the ground because the soldiers would take it away from them.
    It was a giant who hid it there. When people heard about it they made many attempts to get it, but they could not.
    Buried gold has never been found in my district. The old people say that every time people went looking for the gold and if they came near the gold they were driven back by a giant.
