  1. There is a fairy fort in my district called Cunninghams liss. One day John Hannan was ploughing this field. Two grey-hounds came up through the ground.
    The fairies are supposed to have built it.
    Ghosts were seen up on a fence about a mile from my house. They were robed in white and they had black eyes. Some people say it was the people of the district with white sheets were there.
    About a mile and a half from my house Petticoat loose was in an old hold there. Anyone who went by the place after six oclock would be killed by her.
