  1. There are three forges in my parish. The names of the forges are Fleming's, forge, Enright's forge and Lyons' forage. The names of the people who work at Flemings are Tom Fleming, Dave Fleming and Jack Fleming. The names of the people in Enright's forge are Joe Enright, Dan Enright and John Enright. Their people have been Smiths for many years before them.
Fleming's forge is situated in the centre of the village. Enrights forge is situated in Mocollop on the side of the road. Lyon's forge is situated in the parish of Ballyduff near a cross road. There are two fireplaced in Fleming's forge, and two fireplaces in Enrights forge. The implement the smith use in in his work are:- sledge, hammer, anvil, nails. The smith shows horses, ponies, asses, but e does not shoe cattle. When they are banding wheels they band them out in the open air.
