- When I was speaking to my grandmother last night, I asked her all about the Leipreachain. She told me that the Leipreachain was a small little man about three inches high. The Leipreachain wears a little jacket, green stocking made of leaves and two little shoes. My grandmother told me that she heard her father saying that the Leipreachain has a beautiful castle down under a tree.
Most of the Leipreachains are shoemakers and long ago they were to be seen sitting busily working making a shoe about the size of a thimble.
