    The people of this district have a great many old cures for headaches, toothaches, and thrush.
    The old cure for a tootache was to put a frog in ones mouth and when the frog dies so the toothache also dies away.
    The old cure for a headache was to make the sign of the cross with the frog on the forehead and when the frog dies so does the headache die away.
