    if they put the water of the stone to them it would cure them. If a person had a toothache, they would get a piece of an elder tree and rub it to the tooth; then the pain would go. If a person's nose was bleeding they would get a piece of iron and leave it to his neck. This was supposed to stop it from bleeding.
