    Next day he filled a crib of very bad wet turf and put middling good turf outside.
    He went off to town then. When the police saw him comming two of them went out to meet him.
    When he saw them comming he seemed very much afraid to make the guards feel sure he had some (poitin.)
    After a while they asked him how much did he want for the crib of turf.
    The turf was very dear that time and he asked three pounds for it even
