    feet ,saw a creature like a serpent wriggling and twisting.he made the Sign of the Cross and urged the beast on .They travelled slowly the Serpent keeping before them until they came to a spot called the Seanáit where it disappeared.The man arrived home more dead than alive.he spent some days in bed and for a long time was not in the better of the fright he got.
    A story is told of a dog having been seen in the neighbourhood of this fort.
    Another story is told of the same spot .A man named Studdart lived in Kilkishen house ,and one day driving a phaeton along the road .He had
