  1. The landlord of Derryvenane was Mr Fitzgerald. He never crushed anyone but he always gave them time to pay their rents. He was a very good landlord. The people that had big valuation and that went before the land act for a reduction, he gave it to them and he reduced [?] rent of those who did not go before him. He lived in Carrigoran house Newmarket on Fergus.
