The way you call geese is "Beadie beadie."
Any one that has a mare should kill a cock at Michaelmas on account of having a mare. They say that you should kill a cock on Saint Martin's Day and spill the blood in honour of Saint Martin and dip a piece of flannel in the blood and put it up. It is good for a pain in the side.
