  1. Travelling folks visit our house from time to time. They sell small articles but I dont know where they get them.
    The always have an old pony and cart with them. The principal families that go through this part of the country are, The Kellys, McCanns, Browns, Boylans and Mary Carolan.
    The Kellys, Browns and Mary Carolan are from Granard. There are tinkers which sell cans and porringers. While the men are making the cans the women make flowers from nice paper.
