    It is said he died of a broken heart on account of his betrayal. After his death there wasn't much stir until Michael David founded the “Land League”. The first thing the people here gained by this was the abatement of the rent, the evictions not as plentiful, and the getting back of their farms. As the farmers had permission to sell their land now, many of them sold their property at as much money that that would bring them to a foreign country.
