  1. A Story.
About sixty years ago a poor widow woman had one cow grazing on the mountain. One day cloud burst of rain fell. The cow came to the gate leading from the mountain to the road. She was sdanding to be let in the river passes at this place it swept the cow off her feet and took her away with the flood about five miles and washed her out on a field then owned by Mr. Fitzgerald of Sheen.
