  1. A Haunted House.
There is a town called Borris eight miles from our house. There is a house called the Richmond this house no one can live in it. There is a rattling heard in this house every night. There is a lot talking about it.
There was a man shot in it his name I cannot tell. He often used to tell yarns himself when he was alive He was shot in the trouble times, and his sister also he then haunted the house the people who shot them were the English.
