  1. Lore of Certain Days.
Saturday is supposed to be an unlucky day to start any work or industre in this district.
Friday is supposed to be a good day. Potatoes are supposed to be sown from March 17th and not later than 30th April. However when the Spring is wet they are often sown as late as the 1st June and with good weather too.
