  1. The Guinea Woman.
    There is a stone in Mr Hogan's field of Drumphea. This stone is called the guinea woman's stone.
    Her marks can plainly be seen on this stone. There is a bigger stone in Mr. Hogan's lane and there is a cut down through the middle of this stone. Years ago the children going from school would put their ear to it and listen to see could they hear anything, because they were told the guinea woman lived inside and that she was always talking to herself. These marks are from where she slipped on the mountain when she was throwing a stone to her sister in Wicklow.
