    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    An abbey was founded at Kinnitty in 557 when St. Finan surnamed Cam, and disciple of St. Brendan of Clonfert who died 576, was abbot of Kinnitty. St. Finian died 7 April but what year is not certain (probably about 655).
