- Gort na mban is a place in Cangort also. It is so called because when the Cangort Castle was built it is said that the women used the field as a sports field for themselves.
- Joness field is in Cangort. It has been called so since the Cangort Castle was built a few years. The field was so called because a man was shooting game on Atkinsons land.
Mr Atkinson told some of his men to capture him but when they went near the man he fired a shot and killed one of them. Then the soldiers seeing that they could not capture him shot him(continues on next page)
