    Cure for a Toothache
    1. To rub pepper on the gums.
    2. Put some vinegar on a bit of wool and to put it in the tooth.
    Cold
    1. Take a good hot lemon drink.
    2. To take a hot cup of buttermilk.
    Whooping Cough
    1. To give a saucer of milk to a ferret and the minute the ferret has touched the milk give it to the person that has the whooping cough.
