  1. The principal graveyards in this parish are Killreghan and Gallen. Killreghan is in the townland of Kincora. Gallen graveyard is in the townland of Gallen. Two smaller graveyards are Tissarn and Ferbane Protestant Churchyard.
    Trees are growing in the graveyards of Gallen and Killreghan. In each of them there are the ruins of an old church. Killreghan new graveyard slopes to the north.
    Near Ferbane, in a place called Kells, there is an old graveyard where unbaptised children were buried. This graveyard is not in use now.
    Just outside this parish are the famous churchyards of Clonmacnoise and Leamonaghan. Needless to say, there are the ruins of old churches in Clonmacnoise. In Leamonaghan there are the ruins of an old
