    Lime is burned in kilns by Mr. Martin Kenny, of Ballyclare.
    Rope - making:
    Ropes are made of binding twine by Mr. James Keegan, of Kilcolgan, and Mr. Mike Egan, of Keelogue.
    Brick - making:
    Brick are made in the brick - yards by Dolans, Gurnans and Donlons.
    In years gone by plover used to be shot and trapped, but it is not allowed now. The names of wild fowl killed now are duck, wood - pigeon, snipe and pheasant.
