  1. In a place called Ballyheath near Clonfanlough there lived a simple old man whose name was Kelly. At one time he had a pig nearby fit for the market. It took cramps and could not walk.
    Some of the boys told him that the fairies had taken his own pig and left something in its place. They also told him that the only way to get his own pig back is to set the crampy one which had been left on fire.
    So he took it up on a high hill and burnt it. While the pig was burning he kept on shouting. "Go with them now as they took you".
