    field and there is always a very good crop. There is no need to describe St. Kieran's and the surrounding Churches as the place is already famous.
    Miracles worked by St. Kieran
    There are two towers in Clonmacnoise and one is unfinished. This story gives the reason:-
    When the mason was building the tower near the top St. Kieran came to him and asked him to put a cross on the top. The mason refused and continued to build but every time he attempted to put up stones and mortar it fell down again so that it remains unfinished to this day.
    There is another miracle St. Kieran worked:- There was a man living in Ballyduff who used keep his children away from Mass every Sunday to keep the crows from the corn. St. Kieran came to him one day and the man told his story.
