    Pottery Work: There was a woman who lived near Ballycumber who was a great pottery worker. She could make flower-pots and many other articles out of clay. Then she used to bake them.

  2. Famous Thatchers:
    About two miles from the village is a place called Coroe. There lived a man names Pat Gibbons who was a famous thatcher. He was known all over as the "Man and a half".
    His son lives in Clara and he is also a good thatcher.
