  1. I know many proverbs but here are the best ones :-
    A shut mouth catches no flies.
    It's a long lane that has no turn.
    Eaten bread is soon forgotten
    It's a bad wind that does not blow favourable for somebody.
    The man on the ditch is the best hurler.
    People in glass houses should not throw stones.
    A rolling stone gathers no moss.
    Put a beggar on a horse and she will ride him to hell.
    Constant dropping wears a stone.
    At the mouth of the bag is the time to save.
    Eat an apple going to bed and the doctor may go and beg his bread.
    As long as the pitcher goes to the well 'tis broken in the end.
    You can't do two things well at the one time.
    A burned child dreads the fire.
    Once bitten twice shy.
