    Two other Forges
    There is an old forge in the townland of Annagh. It is situated beside the road. The name of the present blacksmith is John Walsh. His ancestors worked there for generations. It is said that pikes were made there in 1798.
    There is another old forge in Buckstown. It is situated beside the road also. Nobody has been working in this forge for a few years. The name of the last smith was Byrne. It is said that pikes were made there in 1798 also.
