    She died poor soul in an old meat box! that almost floated in the water that poured in through the roof of her old thatched cottage. She could almost have had a viking's exit in her small wooden craft that served as a bed. The "house?" she lived in was situated right opposite the Parish Church of Litter, and it was only possible to enter it, by stooping and bending like a contortionist so many were the props, sticks and wattles that helped to keep the old hovel from rattling round her ears, and smothering her in filth and debris.
