- I have this story personally from a very old resident of Kilmuckridge, who died about 10 yrs ago - at the ripe age of 90 yrs.
His name was Patrick Walsh of Kilmuckridge, and an uncle to the famous Mangan brothers. He resided in the house at Kilmuckridge where Mr Murtagh Mangan now lives.Mr Walsh was a very sensible sober and rather well-read man.
