    Right opposite where I now write these lines, it is said that Potteen was manufactured up to 80 years ago. The house was in the lands of a Mr Dempsey of Ballygarron cattle sheds and outhouses now stand on the site of the old "Distillery"
    J Carberry tells of an incident that happened one might as the "hands" were about to load up + get away the "Stuff."
    A local "Nosey Parker" of the day had just before nightfall, planted himself high up in a tall tree that he knew would over look the
