    long, long ago the Blessed Virgin lost her brooch and while she was looking for it a blacksmith came out and asked her what was she looking for, she told him and he said not to mind, he would make her another one, so he went in got a coin, reddened it, cooled it and made it into a beautiful brooch, so she told him that the water in which he cooled it was very good.
    It is also said that when the sparks fly from the fire toward you it is a sign of spite.
    People do not send them gifts, but they generally go to them for the news.
    They are looked upon as being very, very strong and healthy.
