    There was a big farmer living near a place where there was a very poor family living. When Christmas came round the big farmer had a goose for dinner.
    In the middle of the day the poor people's teeth began to water for a bit of the goose and the mother of the family sent down one of children for a bit of the goose.
    When the child came down she said
    "My mother sent me down for a bit of the goose,
    And to ask the big needle for an exa
