  1. Pat o'Connor was atin' his dinner at Katin's of Raheen one day.
    He had two herrin's. Mrs Katin asked him why he wasnt atin them. I think Pat wasnt really gone on them and Pat said:-
    "Wance yez ware where the wild billows roar,
    But it was the devil that welcomed yez here on shore,
    But if the mistress had to line your two sides with butter,
    I think yez would ate a good deal better."
