There was a man in Cassagh some years ago that ploughed a rath.

There was a man in Cassagh some years ago that ploughed a rath. Some weeks after he had a mare sick. She was due to foal. He remained up in the stable to mind her. At about eleven o’clock he fell asleep and when he awoke up the mare was gone. He searched around the farm yard. After some time he went to the rath and he found the mare dead.
