  1. In years gone by there was a man named Mick Maddock who lived in Cassagh Co Wexford. He was a well known man and was a native of the district. He was known to be the strongest man at that time. When ever he wanted his ploughs harrows or rollers changed from field to field he always carried them on his shoulders and it was no trouble to him. If he wanted his ploughs fixed he would take them on his shoulders and bring them to the nearest forge a distance of about a mile. This man lived to be a very old age. This man died fifty years ago.
