  1. German War Song
    i
The German nation has grown impatient
Their war declaration to the world have thrown
    In their consternation and detestation
To know what monarch should rule the throne.
    ii
Out spoke the Kaizer by Julius Caezar
I'll rule this world from North to South
I'll invade each nation with desecration
And spread desolation in every rout
    iii
But little Belgium who like lions held them
Till Great Britain woud send them across the mmain
Some brave Highlanders under great commanders
To the field of Flanders to break the chain
    iv
And little Ireland our little sireland
Joined in the fireland their coours flying
Their sons are manning a blazin' cannon
From the river Shannon to the valley Rhine
    v
Oh where is the sergeant, my case is urgent
I'm a Wexford insurgent but I am no poet
Give me an Enfield blazer, till I plug the Kaizer
Or a halfpenny razor until I cut my troath
