  1. Christmas day falls on the 25th December Everyone prepares for this great feast a week beforehand. The woman of the house cleans the house and leaves it in apple-pie order.
    In most houses decorations are placed in the parlour for twelve days. We put holly, ivy, mistletoe behind the pictures. We also put a little crib in the kitchen.
    On Christmas Eve, Christmas candles are lighted by the youngest in the house and placed in the front windows of the kitchen, parlour, porch and two bedroom windows. We do
