    that the big landlords drove these people out of their village down to the bottoms and marshy places in the hollow and that the houses and fences were leveled and the lands made into three hundred acre farm. Deer were then brought to this park. Now the park again belongs to the people of Ballynacargy for the purpose of grazing cows and calves. The wood is nearly all cut down
