    Folklore Games I play
    Games I play
The game I like best is Ghost in the garden. The way we play it is, one child is to put her hands up to her face and there would be another child called a mother and all the others her children. When the mother sends the children out for something the ghost runs after them. The one with her hands up to her face is the Ghost. Then the mother brings the children out a stick for a candle and the following conversation takes place.
Mother - What do you want?
    Ghost - A needle
Mother - What do want with the needle?
Ghost - To sew my bag
Mother - What do want with the bag?
    Ghost - To carry stones
Mother - What do you want with the stones?
Ghost - To sharpen my knife
Mother - What do you want with the knife?
Ghost - To cut the throats of the children
