    In poor Fairy Hall
    With writs and with processes
    I serve by the score
    Widows and orphans
    I could not do more
    Some I evicted
    But not quite them all
    But now their curses
    Fall on sweet Fairy Hall
    Bad luck to Killean
    And his leaguering for land
    McLoughlin and Gannon
    With their new music band
    It's the only one thing
    Has caused me don't fail
    I opposed the good price
    And broke up the sale.
For there are ranches around me
    I wanted them all
To make a big grazing farm
    In sweet Fairy Hall
    In Drum Heldree I seized
The hens, ducks, chickens, asses and sows
    Duffy, Murray, the Coxes
    The Keane's one and all
They would break through a rank
Though as strong as a wall
