    fell from the top of the mail couch on to the ground. O'Conor ran and lifted it up and turning back made his way to the Post Office. The people were very upset about the money and they blamed Tom Murphy the driver of the couch, O'Conor received a hundred pounds for his honesty. He returned to his little home joyfully and the money kept him-self and his family fed for the remainder of the famine years.
