- Once there was a poor man who had five children. One of them was so small that he was called little thumb. The wood cutter brought his children to the wood the way that he would loose them in it. But little thumb was after hearing this. He gathered a bag of small white stones. When his father was starting off the next morning little thumb dropped the white stones on his way. Their father told them to go and look for sticks. When they came back with the sticks, their father was gone. The brothers began to cry, but little thumb led them home again.They stayed there for a few months and their father said(continues on next page)
